Te Oro Presentation
Today I got to present my learning to the other Manaiakalani schools. I made a DLO about my inquiry topic Te Taiao O Tamaki. I was really excited and nervous that we had to showcase some of our pictures and challenges to them. TO make it more interesting we got to live stream it so our school can watch us at that very moment. I had lots of fun and I ope to do this again.

Te Oro Performance
At Te Oro some of the students from Panmure Bridge School went down to perform and showcase some of the learning that we did in our Inquiry which is Te Taiao O Tamaki. I got to watch the live stream, they performed really well and I liked how they recycled the materials into outstanding costumes. I am so happy that we displayed our learning to other manaiakalani schools and I hope we get to do this another time.

Fraction games
Today I played a maths game called speedway fractions , this game was about adding fractions. This was quite hard because I haven't added fractions before but I kind of got it. So the trick as to make sure the denominator is the same, then add the numerators and put the remaining answer over the denominator.

Pies @ Tamaki College
At tech we finished off our meat pies , we made our fillings last week and added in all the ingredients together today. We even got to use the left over pastry to make little icons or pictures to put on top of our pie. I think this was a long process because we were preparing the food a week before. But I think this turned out to be a great pie and I think I will make it at home.

Run a fitness session with your class
At camp I helped lead the Aerobics fitness along with Mr M, Ms Kirkpatrick, Mishaan and Mrs Caroline. If you don't know what Aerobics is, it is basically a exercise that can help you strengthen your muscles with different types of dance moves. The whole class followed along with this.

Our other duffy guests were Bo and Donna , these guests are from Mainfreight which helps us get books to read. We would like to thank Mainfreight for sponsoring our duffy books and Catherine, Filipe and Madison for also coming along we really appreciate the time and effort.

Camp Photo Story
I told a story with the some of the pictures that were taken at camp. This tells a story with different pictures, it tells us what we were doing. It basically is in order from each day and activity that happened. I used arrows to guide the pictures in sequence. My favorite activity that I enjoyed the most was probably high ropes it had fun obstacles that challenged me as well as getting over my fear of heights.

Kokako Lodge Brochure
To showcase Kokako Lodge we made a Brochure of the place. We added in some of the main parts of Kokako Lodge. We tried to advertise the some of the parts of the lodge such as the Waterfall, Cabins, Kitchen and a few of the exciting activities that took place. Adding in images from our current camp would help with this DLO.

Camp Book Diary
During camp we had our own personal camp diaries. We wrote our reflection of the day and how we felt along with some fun activities we took part in. We now transferred it to a digital version so we could share it to our families and friends and display what we did at camp. I added in pictures that matched the day so they could see it visually through the pictures.

Kokako Bird Infographic
To show our understanding of the Kokako Bird we made an info-graphic about it. We also added images to show the appearance of the bird. Did you know that the Kokako bird prefers to leap then fly. I also didn't know that that it was a native bird to New Zealand.
